When you study in New Zealand at an NZQA registered provider in a course that leads to National Qualifications Framework credits, NZQA keeps a record of everything you achieve. |
What is a record of learning? |
This record is called a record of learning, and it is a list of all the National Qualifications Framework credits that you have achieved in your time of study at tertiary level. |
How do I get a copy of my record of learning? |
All students who gained some credits in the previous year can ask for a free copy of their record of learning. To do this you must either logon to your learner login on the NZQA website, or ring NZQA on ++64, (0)4 463 3000. |
When can I get my record of learning? |
| You are able to request the free official transcript of your record of learning from 1 February to 30 June. |
What if my address changes? |
| You record of learning will be posted to the address NZQA has for you. If your address changes you must fill in this form in Word or PDF and post the form to NZQA. |
Can I get a copy of my record of learning at any other time? |
If you require a copy of your record of learning at any other time, or if you just want extra copies of it, you can apply using this form. The record of learning will cost you $15 and you must post it to: Tertiary Records Business Unit |
Can I view my record of learning on the Internet? |
All students who enrol in a program that includes National Qualifications Framework credits are given a unique identification number. This is their National Student Number (NSN). Use this number when you log in to the NZQA website. You can log in to the NZQA website and print a copy of your record of learning at any time. This means you can gain a fresh copy of your current results before applying for a new job or enrolling in a new programme. Please note however that the document on the website will not be an official transcript. |
