Moderation
The New Zealand Qualifications Authority manages moderation systems to support the assessment of registered unit standards in school and tertiary areas. This ensures that all accredited providers and workplace assessors are making consistent and reliable judgements about candidates' assessed work.

This summary report has been prepared following statistical analysis and collation of the information reported by individual Industry Training Organisations (ITOs) about the management of their national external moderation systems. The summary report makes the information available to all ITOs for use in their ongoing review of their moderation systems and practices.
