Studying At Secondary School - Student Profiles

Under NCEA, students can tailor their courses of study and NCEA qualifications to best suit their academic and vocational aspirations.

They also have the option of getting a head start on career options by studying for specialist National Certificates on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).

We have profiled a number of Year 13 students to show how NCEA is working for secondary school students around the country. Read about their plans, what they like to study and what they don't, how they prepare for assessment and what they do outside of school.
