6.1.6 Return of External Assessment Material
- NZQA will return external assessment material in February to candidates who have provided a New Zealand address.
- Candidates who have provided an overseas address must apply on the approved form to NZQA before 1 March in the year following assessment, and pay a specified fee, if they require their external assessment material to be returned.
- NZQA will exercise all care in processing external assessment materials and returning them to candidates, but will not accept any liability for the non-delivery of these materials to a candidate, or the non-delivery to the NZQA of materials sent in for a review or reconsideration.
- All unclaimed external assessment materials will be disposed of on or after 30 June in the year following the assessment.
- NZQA may alter these dates in extenuating circumstances.
