This section sets out the general assessment rules and procedures for Scholarship 2009. Unless stated otherwise, the general assessment rules and procedures that apply to assessment systems administered by schools and the New Zealand Qualifications Authority for NCEA will apply to Scholarship.
Only those Rules & Procedures which apply exclusively to Scholarship appear in this Section 6.3

Special Notes:
- Technology (generic) will cover Biotechnology, Electronics and Control, Materials Technology, Production and Process, Food, Structures and Mechanisms, and Information and Communications Technology (ICT). Candidates can only submit one portfolio but evidence can come from one or more technological areas.
