Course planning aids

Reviewing what has happened and how your students have performed is a good starting point for planning a course or a year's programme.

When you're planning your courses or deciding on specific assessment activities don't forget to check:

Standards	Make sure you have the current version of the standard
Reviews	Check to see if standards or qualifications have been reviewed recently and what changes have resulted from any review
Mutually exclusive	Check which standards are mutually exclusive
University Entrance	Ensure that the subjects to be assessed are approved for University entrance purposes
Assessment Specification	Are you preparing students fairly and accurately for the external exam?
