A2009/026 - 25 August 2009Authenticity Statement for Graphics and Technology PortfoliosCandidates who submit portfolios for assessment in Graphics or Technology are required to sign an authenticity statement. This form verifies that the work has been completed by the student. This verification is an essential part of the assessment process. The statement forms can be accessed below:
Where a candidate does not complete the statement, it will be treated as unauthenticated student work. Their submission will be marked but not reported until the completed authenticity form is received by NZQA. As this could inconvenience candidates, every effort needs to be made to ensure that completed authenticity statements are included with the portfolio submissions. Error in the NCEA Graphics Level 1 Assessment Specifications for 2009The specifications show conflicting information regarding the number of pages that should be submitted to NZQA for assessment. For Level 1, a candidate portfolio should not exceed 20 pages/40 sides (not 45 pages as outlined on page 5 of the specifications document for 2009). The Level 1 Assessment Specifications have been updated and can be accessed here: Enquiries A PDF Please refer any enquiries relating to this circular to:
