Working together for results

One reason for the success of the recent examinations and results distribution has been NZQA's excellent working partnership with New Zealand Post and local printers Printlink.

Using custom-made print technology to process our extensive data, Printlink's presses produced over a million Bursaries and individualised NCEA examination booklets in preparation for the 2002 examinations.

New Zealand Post staff managed the huge logistical task of distributing booklets to exam centre managers; collecting, sorting and distributing booklets to markers; and collecting, sorting and returning booklets to candidates. Then they had the job of delivering examination results to learners all around the country.

So, to acknowledge the excellent work of New Zealand Post and Printlink in this first important year of NCEA, and to cement our ongoing partnership, the Qualifications Authority hosted a small gathering in January to mark the signing of a five-year agreement between the three organisations. We look forward to working together successfully in the future.
