Top Art tours the country The annual Top Art Exhibition of outstanding NCEA Level 3 Art is once again touring the country. Top Art is an annual exhibition of art folios from 2006 level 3 Visual Art students, organised by NZQA. "The folios all achieved Excellence in the 2006 and one of the main aims of the exhibition is to show this year's secondary school students and their teachers what it takes to gain achievement with Excellence in art at level 3," says Deputy Chief Executive Qualifications Bali Haque. "It is also a great chance for members of the public to see the best of the art that is being created in schools." This year Top Art will appear in 28 venues nationwide. Two separate exhibitions are touring the country simultaneously. One will spend six weeks at Auckland venues in May and June before touring the South Island until the end of August. The other exhibition will tour other North Island venues from May through August. The TopArt website has images of all the artwork and venue and artist details.
