New-look NCEA Certificate

Students receiving their NCEAs for their 2007 achievements next month will be the first recipients of a new look NCEA Certificate.

The certificates have been redesigned for the first time since the introduction of NCEA in 2002.

The new look is in line with NZQA's brand and the certificates have been designed with the flexibility to include certificate endorsements - Achieved with Merit, and Achieved with Excellence - which are available for the first time this year.

The Certificates will continue to be printed in English on one side and te reo M-aori on the other.

Several other official achievement documents have also been redesigned. These include the new Record of Achievement, which this year replaces the Record of Learning, and the New Zealand Scholarship and National Qualifications Framework results notices.
