The Research Team

NZQA has an in-house research team of nine researchers representing seven different nationalities.

"We have research collaborations with other government sector organisations, such as the Ministry of Education and Tertiary Education Commission, as well as with the wider education research institutions including private research organisations and university research groups," says manager James Chal.

"We are very keen to develop further collaborations with both funders and the researchers in areas relevant to the performance of NZQA's functions."
