Brochures available from NZQA |
|
NZQA produces a range of brochures full of valuable information about qualifications that may be of interest to students at your school or training establishment.
A useful overview of what overseas students can expect to gain from studying in New Zealand. This brochure includes information on some of the controls and quality assurance practices NZQA has in place to give students peace of mind when it comes to choosing a course here. There's also an introduction to New Zealand institutions - secondary and tertiary - and a brief look at the National Qualifications Framework, including NCEA, and the Register.
Information for learners, training providers and employers. Learners can find out about the six national qualifications available in Computing and get a specific breakdown of what they can achieve with each one. They'll know how to go about getting a qualification and where they can study. Employers and providers can read about the benefits of national qualifications. There's also some basic information about becoming a provider and assessing staff.
New brochure in the National Certificates & National Diplomas series. This specifically targets employers but offers an overview of the NCES that is useful for providers and learners too. If your students are likely to be interested in this qualification, which provides learners with the skills that are needed most in the workplace, contact NZQA for copies of this brochure.
An in-depth look at the 20 Performing Arts national qualifications available in New Zealand, including Dance, Performing Arts General, Performing Arts Management, Performing Arts Technology, Music, Music Technology and Drama. These brochures are proving very popular with providers offering Performing Arts courses and with students interested in pursuing a qualification in this field.
This is for all people considering enrolling in tertiary courses and explains what students should look for when they choose a course or qualification. Available in English and te reo Māori , this brochure will help students become more aware of concepts like course approval, understand the level of assurance that NZQA's national approval system provides and answer many of the questions students should ask before signing up, drawing loans and paying fees. |
