Secondary school qualifications
Today secondary schools can offer a wide range of qualifications.
The National Certificate in Educational Achievement (NCEA) is New Zealand's main national qualification for secondary school students. For more information click on the links above or see the Understanding NCEA brochure.
Schools can also offer a wide range of specialised National Certificates that may be a starting point for further study or may simply broaden general education.
Specific information on New Zealand's secondary school qualifications (past and present) is available on the links on the sidebar.
