New Zealand Diploma in Business
Results data 2003-2007
Please note that data in these online results may vary slightly from that provided prior to 2008 to tertiary education organisations (TEOs). This is due to transfer of data from the previous system to the online results database, in operation since October 2007. For example, during transfer results for individual learners may have been merged, errors detected and corrected, or reported ethnicity, as submitted by the same individual, may have changed.
Because TEOs are now able to withdraw and resubmit online there may be some results included in the 2007 statistics that relate to previous academic years. Consequently, the 2007 results have been kept separate from previous year's data and should not be used in a comparison with previous years' results.NZDipBus qualification count

| 2007 DATA | ||
A summary of the total number of students awarded an NZDipBus as well as a breakdown by type of awarding institution, gender, student age, and ethnicity.
Data prior to 2007 relates only to diplomas issued by NZQA. 2007 data includes diplomas issued by NZQA and those issued by TEOs.
From 2008, TEOs intending to issue their own diplomas must (a) reach formal agreement with NZQA and (b) formally verify results prior to release. This agreement must be renewed annually.For Diploma data the year indicates when diplomas were issued by NZQA, not necessarily when they were achieved.
Results data indicates results awarded in that year, not results reported by TEOs in that year. For example, results for semester two, 2007 may have been reported early in 2008, but are recorded as 2007 results.Results by prescription by provider type

Note that students are sometimes awarded more than one result for the same prescription in the same year - for example, students may have been reassessed to achieve a pass grade or a better grade of pass.

A 'pass' is a C to A+ and a 'no pass' is a D, E or F.
A 'P' grade is a pass, but is ungraded. These results, in the main, arise from credit transfer but include other ungraded passes (for example, aegrotat passes) and results for local prescriptions.Count of students by prescription
